I have made some adjustments to the shipping options. Due to major increases in USPS First Class international rates, international customers have the ability to choose non-tracked shipping to bring their cost down. The option for tracked is still available at the new, higher rate. (First class USPS package with tracking to Europe is now $15) I will still have to manually refund you for combined shipping when you place an order with multple items. |
This patch was produced as a bonus patch for the SpaceX Flight Suit patch set Kickstarter, but I am making it available to collectors. The patch celebrates the lineage of the "Endeavour" vessel name from Captain Cook to SpaceX. I wanted to produce it as soon as Elon Musk stated the name was "Dragonship Endeavor" [sic] when the name was revealed. This is a 5" patch!
Enos was the second chimpanzee launched into space by NASA. He was the first chimpanzee, and third hominid after cosmonauts Yuri Gagarin and Gherman Titov, to achieve Earth orbit. Enos's flight occurred on November 29, 1961. This is a patch commemorating his spaceflight. It is 4" wide.
Retrorocket Emblems is excited to release the Gemini 5 "Crew Souvenir" replica patch. This is the first time this style of patch has been made as a replica. Patch is 4" in diameter.
Another milestone in the crewed Dragon capsule program was a successful splashdown at sea after docking and undocking from the ISS.

On August 27, 2019, SpaceX flew its ungainly "Starhopper" test vehicle on a 150M flight at its Boca Chica Texas facilities. The squatty appearance of the vehicle gave it many nicknames including the "Flying Water Tower". The successful test of the Raptor engine means the continuation of the Starship program for SpaceX.
The original patch was spotted as part of the historic Armstrong family collectible auctions in 2019. Previous Dyna Soar project patches have been produced but the auction listing for Neil Armstrongs patch revealed the detail of the patch which allowed me to create this high-fidelity replica. Limited to 50 patches.

Earlier this year the world was mesmerized by the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch. Not only did this showcase their new Heavy Booster, it was also a marketing coup with the launch of Elon Musk's cherry red Tesla Roadster into space. The world watched for hours as the car and it's passenger the "Starman" orbited the Earth. I designed a commemorative patch for the occasion, and in my usual fashion, launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the prodution of the patch. The campaign was such a success that I decided that I should add a "stretch goal" of an additional patch to all of the backers. The second patch commemorates the first attempt to land three boosters similtanously. Even though only two landed successfully, it was an still an amazing feat.
Now that all of the Kickstarter orders are fulfilled I can open sales of the patches to the public.
Due to the incredible support from the Kickstarter backers, I have decided to use some of the funds to gift everyone with a bonus patch. Polling ends September 22.
