This photo exemplifies why I love creating patches. The crew of Artemis II are absolutely wearing all the patches from that career that have signifcant, deep, earned meaing to them. They wear them with pride. Each design has significant meaning to both the individual, the crew and the team that got them there. Godspeed, Artemis II.
On March 14, 2024, SpaceX launched Starship IFT-3 from Boca Chica, Texas. This flight accomplished a significant number of new milestones for the booster and spacecraft. This patch commemorates three of the milestores accomplished by Starship S28: the payload door opening, the propellant transfer test and partial reentry.
